Typically, we serve individuals with personal legal issues to resolve and small businesses, whether they be proprietorships, corporations or limited liability companies. After many years at our location, we find that many of our individual clients are from the nearby community. From our perspective, we take pride in the fact that many of our clients see us as their “neighborhood law firm”.

Here are some of the areas in which we practice:

Residential And Commercial Real Estate - including negotiation for purchase or sale, contract preparation or review, title examinations, loan or cash sale closings. We also provide advice and counsel regarding any type of real property dispute, including condemnation, family disputes arising from joint ownership, foreclosures and issues with community associations.

The Resolution Of Disputes - including matters in Court which may involve representing either a plaintiff or defendant in a civil trial, Arbitration, Mediation, or other negotiated settlement. We also do appellate practice before the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. We are experienced in construction law matters, contract disputes, business disputes, as well as automobile collisions, personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Estate Planning  - which is according to the needs of the client and may involve only a basic will or trust or the more complex planning documents including Living Trusts. We also provide to the client, as needed, General or Limited Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney and Living Wills. Estate planning advice which may avoid the need for administration is also made available to the client.

Estate Administration - If an administration before the probate court is necessary to settle a decedent’s estate, we will provide whatever counsel is needed by an executor or administrator to work through the process to closure, or in some cases if the heirs wish, we will serve in the capacity of executor or administrator.

Small Business Formation And Counseling - We form corporations, partnerships, and professional or regular limited liability companies, or represent a party in a business purchase or sale, through stock transfer or asset transfer arrangement, and succession planning in family business. We also counsel small businesses in dealing with day to day legal issues.

Other Areas of our practice include representation in traffic court, elder law issues, debt collection, and counseling in general on family legal matters.
